Wow. What an absolute amazing staff, what Mark has done for me is above and beyond the call of duty. My experience with their law firm has been fantastic. Mark and his staff are amazing and I cannot say enough about their dedication, passion, and empathy to individuals’ circumstances. Mark was the first to objectively evaluate my fiancé’s situation, when other lawyers just said “well, your ex said you beat her, so you probably did”. Mark has what many lawyers do not these days: judgment, discretion, and executive functioning ability. He defended my fiancé fiercely. Mark saw the systemic, judicial, and social abuse my fiancé was suffering as an actual domestic abuse victim, and was the only one who believed him. Not only that, but Mark felt so badly for how much my fiancé was made to suffer, he forgave his legal debt without any prompting or being asked for relief. He simply offered it because he saw how unfairly he was being treated, and simply wanted to ease his burden. That’s a quality I have never observed on a lawyer, ever, and I wish all lawyers had the character, dedication, and empathy that Mark Hanchey does. We speak about him in my household not infrequently; to me he is a symbol of what lawyers should be: a person who represents justice and not only themselves. I wish I could rate Mark’s review as a 10 plus.
I had never needed an attorney’s consultation or the need to hire one. I chose Mark from his online reviews. I did not anticipate such kind, compassionate or professional attorney. He was thorough in preparing for my appearance before the judge. I will hopefully not require an attorney in the future but I would definitely retain him again. His fees were fair compared to another attorney I had spoken to. So glad to have him represent me. The positive outcome was the icing on the cake.

I hired Mr. Hanchey to settle a dispute that I had with the gas company. They had accessed my property to install a main natural gas line 40’ under my horse pasture. Mark Hanchey took on my fairly severe traffic case regarding a revoked license charge as a HTO. Not only did he handle it with the UTMOST professionalism and reputability, but he also got my fairly serious charges dismissed before trial. Every other attorney I had contacted within the Colorado Springs area had told me I was “dead to rights” and it was a “pretty open and shut case with not much options”. But he knew which direction to take my case and was always there with updates or answers to any questions. His paralegals are also very friendly and professional. Mr. Hanchey helped me through the legal aftermath of a careless driving charge I received earlier this year. I would recommend Mr. Hanchey and his firm very highly. He made it clear to me from the start that his priorities were to make the whole process as transparent as possible to me, and to obviously minimize the impacts on my life, job, etc. This was important to me because I am in the military and didn’t want to be inhibited from traveling for training and whatnot for a relatively minor misdemeanor charge. Mr. Hanchey did as he promised throughout the process. He handled the majority of the legal engagement without me needing to be present, he and his firm were very professional and responsive when I did request information or updates, he was flexible and able to meet with me on short notice on multiple occasions, and in the end he was able to negotiate a very good deal and minimize the impact of the this charge on my life. The folks over at Mark S Hanchey law firm are great. They helped me with a case back in 2006 and ever since then I’ve gone back to them randomly over the years just to thank them for all that they’ve done for me; each time they were very courteous and kind and even remember my name! You are not just a number to the people here where once they help you, they forget you even exist. Recently Mark and Kim have helped me to try to dig up some old paperwork needed in order for me to get a license; they were extremely helpful in getting me the paperwork needed; Kim even told me once you are a client, you are a client for life, great customer service, she really went above and beyond to get old paperwork from 2006. Until I met Mark Hanchey I thought all lawyers were cold fish, from personal experience, but Mr. Hanchey is the kind of Attorney that you want on your side. Came to Mark after meeting with two other attorneys who were not so professional and not feeling comfortable with them. Mark was able to ease my daughter’s anxiety, was very professional and gave her all the pros and cons that she needed upfront. If I were you I would go with Mark Hanchey! I was in a very bad situation that brought charges towards myself. I called a few different lawyers asking for their opinions and what they would do with my case . Pretty much all of them gave me no answers and said they would need the money before they could say anything about my case. When I called Mr. Hanchey he was very confident and to the point about what he would do with my case. I was very scared at first but Mr. Hanchey’s viewpoint was very reassuring and comforting. When we went to court the other lawyers sounded very inexperienced and not very confident. When Mr. Hanchey begins to speak he distinguishes himself with experience and knowledge of the law. He in fact corrected the judge at my hearing if that tells you anything. All I can say is if you’re in a bad spot and you need a knowledgeable and confident lawyer to fight for you Mr. Hanchey is your man.

I hired Mark 12 yeas ago to represent my boyfriend at the time who was facing a class 1 felony charge.
Over the course of three appointments as Mark and I waited for my boyfriend , who never did show up and ultimately went the with a court appointed attorney, I came to respect his professionalism and knowledge of the law. Two years later I recommended Mark to a friend, also facing a class 1 felony charge under seemingly hopeless circumstances. My friend had been to several other attorneys and things really did look grim . Mark took the case to trial and won. Over the years I have recommended Mark to others with positive results each and every time, the most recent being in 2011. I highly recommend this attorney to anyone facing criminal charges and willing to participate in their own defense.
